The northern regions of South Africa and Namibia have some of the most astonishing contrasts and vast landscapes in Africa making these areas a photographers paradise. The remote Kgalagadi Transfrontier park is home to all the big big cats and is famous for its black maned llions, high numbers of cheetah & leopard.
Namibia offers rich cultures, supurb wildlife, and scenery that will take your breath away. Enjoy dinner under the stars which feel so close at times you feel like you could reach out and touch them,, or sit and watch the sun go down the awe-insipring dunes of Sossusvlei in the oldest desert in the world.
Etosha National Park, another of Africa's great parks is set in the unique enviroment of Etosha Pan which gives the opportunity to see elephant, lion, giraffe, rhino and an abundance of plains game. Namibia is renowned for its extremely successful cheetah conservation effort, so while here we will visit the Cheetah Conservation Fund founded by Dr Laurie Marker and learn about the innovative methods that are used to save the worlds fastest land mammal.
Namibia's people are diverse and consist of eight cultural groups which include the Damara, with their many sub groups, the Himba of the north, Herero people as well as small poulations of the San.
This is a land of broad horizons, spectacular scenery, extraordinary wildlife and cultural experiences, a photograhers paradise, a safari which will never be forgotten!.
