A TRIP OF A LIFETIME.
THERE IS ONLY ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE THIS SAFARI“SUPERB”

Tanzania is the ultimate safari destination and where going on safari began. Commencing in Arusha and ending on the exotic Island of Zanzibar we will follow in the footsteps of the great migration one of nature's greatest wildlife shows on earth.

Commencing in the north Arusha National Park will be the first stop, this small gem of a park is often overlooked by safari goers eager to get to the more iconic destinations of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, but don't be fooled this stunning park offers excellent wildlife encounters, and with many soda lakes is home to countless flamingoes, with no predators there is plenty of opportunity to walk in this wilderness area. The park is situated on the lower slopes of Mt Meru which on a clear day give magnificent views of Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro.

Continuing on through the northern sector we will visit Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park all part of the migration pathway Accommodation in this area will be a selection of luxury tented camps inside the parks and in some areas on the park boundary. While in this area extensive game drives will be taken along with bush walks and a one of the local villages.

After exploring the north we then set out for the southern areas travelling via the great Dodoma Road, which Winds its way over hills and valleys, through ancient teak forests and passing through remote villages giving a glimpse of rural Africa rarely seen by travellers. Arriving in the capital city of Dodoma will be the start of the southern circuit. Iringa will be our first stop a bustling village which is the jump off point for Ruaha National Park and Selous game reserve. Both parks are dominated by two of Tanzania's greatest rivers the Ruaha and Rafiji home to large pods of Hippos and stealthy Nile Crocodiles who wait patiently for the great herds of Zebra and Wildebeest to pass through on their never ending journey. Plenty of time has been allowed to explore and enjoy these parks by vehicle, boat and on foot.

Udzungwa National Park is in complete contrast to the African plains, the habitat is high mountain peaks covered in primeval rain forest that supports many species of flora and fauna endemic only to this area. Udzungwa will be the last stop before continuing on to the coast and port town of Dar es Salaam with an overnight stay here before flying on to Zanzibar Island where a mix of fascinating cultures, stunning beaches and ancient history awaits you..South east of the island is Jambiani an unspoilt paradise of white sand beaches and small fishing villages, time can be spent meeting the friendly local people, diving or snorkelling in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean or take time to relax and chill a little after the many days spent on the dusty plains of the mainland. Stone Town with its magical jumble of narrow cobbled streets is an exciting city to explore, here you can see Dhows being constructed the way they have been for centuries, visit the many bustling markets, enjoy a sundowner as you watch the sun go down over the ocean, visit the old fort, taste some local specialties at the night food market or catch up on some last minute shopping before returning home.

A safari of epic proportions offering a wildlife extravaganza which will give a lifetime of memories and have you coming back for more!
